I LOVE the Pollo Verdure salad. I would never glance at the salad menu anywhere usually, but I once ordered this and was so pleasantly surprised.
Tender chicken, tasty roast veg, loads of leaves and gorgeous balsamic reduction. And the dough sticks on the side. Oh the dough sticks! I love them and knowing I will have them with my salad allows me to deviate from the dough balls for a starter!
This is not a salad for the weight watchers crew. It is a salad of indulgence. Pure, gorgeous indulgence. I really think it’s the best salad I have ever had.
I love the Pollo Pesto. I had it in Milanos in Temple Bar recently and it was the best ever. Everything about Milanos is fab – the service, the staff and most of all the food.
My favourite without a shadow of a doubt is the spinach and ricotta cannelloni……..and of course with a glass of Chianti, bellissimo. Just like mama used to make!
Love the Sloppy Giuseppe and if I have any room left after that I love to have the Caffè Reale (Baby figs in a cinnamon & white wine spiced syrup with a dollop of mascarpone and served with a coffee of your choice
My favourite is Theo’s Gamberettini: the mix of shrimps with courgettes and creme fraiche, with the chili oil on the side to give it a kick: delicious!
The dough balls ROCK and I also love their pollo verdure salad. Love Milanos, they are consistent, reasonable and deal nicely with chatty ladies who are too busy talking to order!
The pollo verdure salad is fab! It’s a lighter option but there is plenty to fill you up. Great combination of chicken and yummy roasted vegetables and the dressing is just right, not at all overpowering. And last but not least the small dough sticks that come with it. They are like a little pizzette snack and I want the recipe!
I have eaten in Killarney Milano the food superb, pizzas, pollo pesto, ceasar salad need I say more. I must add the service and the staff are also extremely good and very pleasant and accomadating this makes for a good night out. Mary
Hiya, Well am a major fan of Milanos. Have eaten there tons of times. The classic margherita is to die for but to be honest everything in that restaurant is mouthwateringly delicious and i’d give anything to win this prize!! Thanks 🙂
At last a decent pizza place in Dun Laoghaire thanks to Milano’s, i just love their new Gustosa pizza and its a great place for a quick lunch time bite especially with their €12.50 offer.
Well, after reading the excellent reviews above and
being something of a pizza connoisseur myself, I will definitely be paying a visit to Milanos in the near future.!!
Well Milano’s in Temple Bar would be my regular. Depending on my mood it would be a toss up between the leggera and the Mt Etna would be my favourites but I also like to try the others when I feel adventurous
my boyfriend and i eat in milanos(limerick) most weekends
looking forward to it makes my mundane life brighter. love the campo di fiori and the margharita is the best ever.
gelato yum. getting hungry writing this.
My daughter loves the doughballs, I love any of the pizzas, its great cause whichever you go for you can’t go wrong, we find Milano’s very child friendly and that’s why we would eat there when the kids are with us.
Milano’s in Dawson St (the original and best) fantastic food and friendly staff. Theo’s Gamberettini “Designer Pizza” was described on the menu as being topped with brown shrimp. I expected the usual pink frozen prawns. Not so. This was the real deal.
Fantastic value too.
