  1. I love their Leggera pizza!

  2. I have to say i do love their leggera pizza – its much lighter and you get some salad too – great for us veges!

  3. I’ve eaten in Milano several times: I live and work close to their restaurants. My favourite dish is the pollo pesto, which comes to the table sizzling. I love cheese, so anything with Gruyère, Grana Padano and Parmesan suits me just fine!

  4. A third for the leggera range. I love those pizzas and there is no carb coma afterwards, bonus!

  5. I like their caesar salad, once leave out those massive doughballs, that is.

  6. We love the leggera range too but our vote goes to the bambinoccino, which aside from being free, makes the kids feel very welcome and they love it!

  7. My fav is the soho with loadsa rocket

  8. I have eaten in Milanos a couple of times. Had ham/cheese/mushroom pizza both times which was very tasty but it is the garlic doughballs that stick out in my mind!

  9. My husband loves their pollo pesto but I just can’t resist their pizzas – especially the one with spinach, goat’s cheese and caramelised onions – delish!

  10. My favourite is one which is not on the menu all the time – the etna – comes on the yummy romana base – that or an american romana!

  11. American pizza on a Romana base. Thin. Crisp. Tasty.

  12. Not very original, but I will say the leggera too! Once we stopped wondering where the middle of our pizza went (kids menu?) we decided that it meant we could get desert too 😉

  13. Padana – can’t resist that goat’s cheese!

  14. I’m a big fan of Milano as the food is always good and the service always great, but by far my favorite (just by thinking about it i get hungry) is the thin crispy and hot Etna pizza, the description is perfect: “An eruption of flavours, scorching hot soft salami from Calabria, sweet fiery roquito peppers and smoked speck ham; finished with grated grana padano” nhaaam!! Perfect!!!

  15. Their four seasons pizza. beautiful!

  16. I’m a fan of the Diavolo, wouldn’t mind a bit more choice on the beers though

  17. The pollo pesto does it for me everytime :o)

  18. Another vote for the leggera pizza!! Yum

  19. I always go for the Diavolo, because it’s got the right amount of spice in it!

  20. My kids both say The Four Season’s Pizza is the bestest in the world!

  21. I *love* their garlic doughballs but I can never finish my main course after them!

  22. Pollo pesto and cheescake!!

  23. I love their lasagne and garlic bread, or pollo salad the choc cake is just amazing…

  24. Bosco Pizza, glass of white wine followed by Banoffee pie. Nuff said.

  25. Always the Diavola – has to be hot ‘n’ spicy, love the green chillies (or whatever they are!). Went through a Sloppy Guiseppe phase for a while too…

The pizza base is always key with any pizza, and Milanos is one of the best. I could name a big chain I’d never return to as the worst frozen pizza tastes better!

  26. Oh God… the soho pizza…nom nom nom

  27. Just one favourite dish!!! Funghi di Bosco and cheesecake. There is no better cheesecake in the world than Milano’s. Trust me I have done a taste test in a lot of other places!!

  31. One of my favorite places,, yummy!!!!

  32. I’ve had a delicious pizza there a few times with goats cheese, caramelized onion, sun-blushed tomatoes, pesto, pine nuts….right down my alley! They used to do an amazing summer fruit pudding as well that I just loved, warm in the centre with mascarpone cheese on the side– yum yum, how I miss it!! 😉

  33. For me its got to be either the Nostrana or Bosco salads, so tasty and the ingredients are so fresh! I love the avocado too it really gives a tang to the salad! The new Leggera pizzas are a great compromise too, half pizza, half salad so you can still feel virtuous and have a great tasting meal!

Favourite would have to be the Bruschetta con Funghi starter (lovely, lovely) but was equally delighted to see that you can get there dough balls in Tesco now. Never exactly the same, but still good. Love dough balls!

  44. I love their Pollo Ad Astra pizza. And the lemon sorbet is delicious! Mmmmmm…
