Where to go for a short break?

Payday, oh payday. So I’ve finally got that tyrannical bank manager off my back and it’s time for a well-deserved break. I know that Discover Ireland have some incredibly good deals, which you’ll find here (it’s a large file, beware!), but I’m torn, so I turn to you guys for advice.
Both Delphi Mountain Resort in Leenane, Co. Galway, and Carlow’s Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa, and Country Club are both offering two B&B and one dinner for €149. The five-star Sheraton Fota Island in Cork would stretch my budget a bit more: one B&B and dinner for €134.
I’m also considering very consistently excellent places: the Brooklodge in Wicklow and Temple Spa in Westmeath. Both are very reliable; unlike many hotels, you’re guaranteed an outstanding meal here. Readers, have you tried any of these places? Any suggestions welcome!
