M&S: Love in for two for €25

marks-and-spencers-logoUpdated with full selection (and thanks to Miriam)

Staying in this weekend? The M&S dine-in offer is back, but this time you can pick up a starter, main, side dish, dessert for two, a red rose or box of chocolates, plus a bottle of fizz for €25. The offer kicks off tomorrow and runs through until Sunday February 14. As usual, bargain hunters are advised to get there early; the M&S deal tends to be very popular and the shelves can quickly run bare.

ms-fishEven though I’m a Valentinian denier, I’m going to go for this offer. Scallops, lamb, chocolate puddings, chianti, and more chocolates for €12.50 each? Who can say no? I’m a big fan of M&S food – it’s always restaurant quality – and this is a lot more affordable and enjoyable than a packed restaurant on Valentine’s night.

  1. ‘A Valentinian denier’ – needs to be made into a badge

  2. a bit limited in the choices on offer, I prefer the dine in for two for €12.50

  3. Hi Maura, this is just a sample, I THINK there might be more on the menu. I’ll check it out. I see why you might prefer the €12.50 offer but when you add in the chocolates and the starter I still think this is a fabulous deal.

  4. I was just about to say Peter, I think there is more choice available on in that offer. I’ll give it a try this weekend, Ive never bought anything in these offers before.

  5. Hunting down that info now, I’ll update the post when I get more details 🙂

  6. As much as a like the goat’s cheese and pesto thing, I’m kinda sick of it. Hopefully there’s another veggie option on the full menu

  7. Hi Peter, I went on the Marks and Spencer site to have a look and they have a lot more choices listed there! Very tempted! Thanks for the heads up though I will definitely be out purchasing some of these treats tomorrow 🙂

  9. What would I do without cheapeats! You have make my weekend planning so much easier with all the M&S tempting info. Enjoy.

  10. Sea bass or lamb, sea bass or lamb….

  11. !Bargain Alert! Marks are selling the food from this offer at half price. I got two rump steaks for €7.50.

  12. Hi Claire, that’s an amazing offer, did you get the whole shebang: starter, side, main, desert, wine, and chocs for €7.50? Or is it all being sold seperately? If you have any more details I’ll put this up as a seperate post. Thanks Claire! 🙂

  13. Each being sold seperately Peter, sides, desserts and mains. I didnt see any starters though, maybe their sell by dates have passed? There was an entire end aisle shelf full of rump steak and lamb in M&S Cork at lunch time today and no one was paying any attention to it. I felt like grabbing people and pointing it out to them!
